Patches is the sweetest, happiest little guy! He was found as a stray and taken to an area shelter. His skin has some weird patches (thus the name the shelter gave him, we're pretty sure) that were treated with gentian violet; that's the purple you can see a bit of in his photos. He likely will require thyroid medication for life, but that's inexpensive. Otherwise he's just a darling little man looking for some laps to curl up in or near. He gets along with other dogs. We aren't sure about cats or other critters.
