The shelter said Rusty is 14. They also thought he was in dire straits, medically. Well, he does have a cataract on one eye, and he did lose 5 teeth during his dental (his teeth were in AWFUL) shape, but he sure doesn't act like he's 14! He's more like 5! One of our friends took him for a walk and told us he had to jog to keep up with him. Rusty is feisty, friendly, incredibly sweet and adorable. He loves to give kisses, hang with people, and is good with other dogs. We're not even going to try to guess at his age, but from his behavior we will say we think he has a lot of life left!!! He is blind in the left eye due to the cataract, but that doesn't stop him at all. He can see just fine with his right eye.
