Pebbles looked soooo sad in her shelter picture. We couldn't let that sadness continue. Turns out she likely also was in a lot of pain from some rotten teeth. You can see the marks on her cheeks that resulted from those teeth. Her face is still healing -- we can only wonder how long she endured that.

(Yes, her name was Peaches. But we found she responds more to Pebbles; maybe that sounds more like whatever her name was in her private life. So we are calling her that now) 

She is very sweet. Although she can't see, she quickly finds her way around new areas and into everyone's heart. She would be perfect for someone  who wants to curl up on the couch and watch TV with their pal next to them. 

She's completely house-trained and should have a fenced yard, although she's happy to go for short walks. She is OK with other dogs as long as they do not get in her face. Because she may bump into other animals while getting used to her new home, she'd do best in a home without animals that are likely to be stressed by that. 

If you'll give this darling little girl a chance, you won't be disappointed.
