Ziggy is the sweetest little boy. The shelter said he is 10 years old, but we think he is younger -- more like 7 or 8. His coloring makes him look older, but his eyes are clear and, other than requiring a thyroid tablet twice a day, he has no health issues. (Thyroid is one of the easiest conditions to handle in a dog; if he gets his medication, there needn't be any complications from it.) Ziggy loves people and loves to be near them. He knows how to shake and adores belly rubs. He's friendly and for the most part ignores other dogs. When he meets them he's polite and lets them know he's no threat to them. He'd probably be OK with other dogs, but he'd prefer to be your one and only so he can have all the attention. He's house-trained and would be easy to train to do tricks or learn obedience cues. He walks nicely on leash, not pulling or straining. We think whoever is lucky enough to adopt this little guy will have the best-ever friend for life. He rides nicely in the crate in the car though he doesn't need to be crated at home. He just chills when left alone, although if he knows you're home, he'll want to be by you.
