Razi is a neutered male chow. The shelter said he is 8, but he’s awfully active for an 8-year-old. We suspect he is younger, maybe 5 or 6.

He was in terrible shape when he came to the shelter, covered with fleas and with skin that had been devastated by fleas and fly bites, and his front teeth are worn down from chewing. We suspect that’s why he was said to be 8.

As you can see, he has recovered nicely. He is a happy, friendly dog beloved by everyone who meets him. He gets along with other dogs, ignoring them for the most part. His vision isn’t perfect, although his eyes are in good health, so he seems a little hesitant at first. But give him treats and he’s your new best friend.
